So, finally Liverpool bought an English player. How much does it cost? £17.5M. Ronaldo costs £80M.. So money does not fit in the topic. The main point, Glen is a hot prospect for English football since he played for West Ham United. With Banitez paying a handful of money to get his service, I personally think that He is worth it. Below are the facts that can support my argument..

1. He is English. Banitez really need an establish first team international because of the local player rule in UCL.

2. He is a right back. Arbeloa does a very wrong 'THING' with Carra last season. Lose Arbeloa, The harmony in the team will be restored.

3. He and Kuyt will be electrifying on the right side on the pitch. His pace and Kuyt's Duracell stamina can make other teams suffer.

4. He is well experience with pressure. A Chelsea reject will bounce back and make the former team crash and burn. He will prove Chelsea wrong when they sold him to Pompey.
