The Liverpool's second string that will beat Chelski's 1st eleven

Liverpool have a system that requires 2 people in one position. This is to make a competition for places in the first eleven. Based on the 2-0 win against Shanghai Senhua, they are really working hard to make to the first team. Enjoy my preview..

SCOTT CARSON. Future England no 1. He was in the world cup squad. Had best season for Charlton. Unfortunately the team was regulated despite his explosive performance. A suitable deputy to Reina. The team will never worry if Reina is injured. Sign from Leeds as a prospect for the future. He will play a major part in this season campaign. I wish he could play regularly this season. I'm excited with the prospect of having 2 world class keepers in the team. Moved on loan to Aston Villa.

ALVARO ARBELOA. Arrived from Deportivo in January this year. Played a good role when Finnan was injured. Also can play at the left. Made Ronaldinho suffer in quaterfinal of the UCL 2007. The former Real Madrid trainee is in Rafa plans this season. I'm sure that he will get the national team call up anytime soon. Good stamina and strength with speedy runs on the flank. A good crosser of the ball too. Worth the money..

SAMI HYYPIA. He is a legend in this team. Playing a major role in Liverpool team before last season. I'll bet he is teaching young Agger to be like him. A rock at the back. Form a great partnership with Henchoz, Carra. This legend has past his time and he want to see his career out with his beloved team. I hope that he will coach this team before returning to Finland. Thank you so much Sami, we will always love you...

GABRIEL PALETTA. This starlet failed to make an impressive debut last season. Highly rated defender was injured and rarely feature on the bench. This season, I reckon he will be a hit although a fierce competition in the back four. Lacks of experience in competition but he will survive another season. Played Carra's style and look to be a long replacement for him.

Fabio Aurelio. This Brazilian bought from Valencia on a free transfer will fight for this position with Riise. Deadly left foot and sublime crosses makes opponents fear of him. He also can play in midfield. Loyal to Rafa. Still injured but I hope will recover and play his best football this season. Liverpool will have strong in depth this season with him around.

JERMAINE PENNANT. Former Arsenal winger that makes a name with himself with Birmingham. His lightning pace and crosses will link up with Crouch. Massive improvement in the second half of last season, a vital decision for Rafa for not selling him to other club. I 'll bet that he will be in the first eleven this season. Important for wide play tactics if Rafa wants to play it..

MOHAMED SISSOKO. This Malian player played with French u-21. Also bought from Valencia, he is tipped as the new Viera. Still has a lot of work to do with his tackling and defensive duty. Rafa loves to field him because of his physical appearence and style of play. Link well with Lucas against Shanghai. A Juve target but choose to sign a long term deal. Hope to see him more often this season.

LUCAS LEIVA. Second Brazilian to play with Liverpool. Most notable appearence is with Gremio in the final Copa Libertadores. Same settle of play with Xabi. Young and strong, this Brazil U-20 captain cought my eye with his performance against Shanghai. Liverpool won to sign him against likes of Man U, Inter, Juve and Barca. Long term investment. Excellent prospect for the future.

RYAN BABEL. Liverpool won his signature from Arsenal this summer. Can play as a striker and also as winger in both flanks. He has pace and good dribbling skill. Still young, but his winning performance at Europe U-21, makes him an instant hit at Liverpool. Tipped to be the next Henry. His performance against Aston Villa won the fans' heart. Will be in the first eleven in no time.
ANDREI VORONIN. Partnered Sheva in the Ukraine squad in 2006 World Cup. Has a lot of experience in Germany but choose to play in England. His pre season has been outstanding and I hope he will continue that in the League and other competition. Highly rated and will be a hit this saeson. He will fight for his place in the team. Although he lacks of pace, this boy has the skill to make a profit to his team.

PETER CROUCH. His an England international. Silence his critics with 2 wonder goals last season. A 6 foot 11' player doing a bicycle kick, are you nuts? Good in the air. When he comes out form the bench, the whole game will change. Linked well with wingers. Love him when he tries to dribble. Looks funny but effective. Crouch has the charisma to win matches. Can wait for him to score again. Bang the goals lad! You earned it!

That's it for now. Will review other players in my next writing.
